Michael Josefowicz has been active in the worlds of print and communications for more than 35 years. The Josefowicz Associates team is the product of the network connections earned over those 35 years. Experienced experts in education, design, printing, and IT are in that network and are available to focus on your project.
From 1972 to 1999, Michael co founded and managed Red Ink Productions, a production focused printing brokerage that served the New York design community. Clients included Tibor Kalman's M&Co., Doyle Partners, many of the leading designers of the mid-90's, as well as art galleries and non-profit organizations including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.
In 1998, he cofounded Chapbooks.com. In 2001, he joined the Grow Network as advisor to David Coleman, CEO. Grow Network, a successful dot.com start up that was later purchased by McGraw Hill.
From 2002 - 2007 he was with Parsons the New School for Design. During his tenure he served as Acting Associate Chair of Communications Design and Special Projects Manager for the Communication Design Department. In 2004, he founded the Communication Design Publishing Center.
As of May, 2007, Michael returned to private practice, as the Managing Partner of Josefowicz Associates LLC. He has been described as a "thought leader" in the world of digital printing and continues to write and present in printing industry venues as time allows. More
Michael graduated from Columbia College in 1967 with an AB in sociology and did graduate work in demography at the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1968.
